Dr. Vijay Tiwari is a Senior Partner and Attending Physician at The Permanente Medical Group, California, one of the largest medical group in the United States. Having more than 20 years of clinical experience in internal medicine and hospitalist care. Dr. Tiwari brings extensive international clinical expertise and a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, contributing to the programme’s academic rigor and ensuring its alignment with contemporary global standards of healthcare delivery.
Dr. J. P. Mishra
Dr. J. P. Mishra is a distinguished Obesity and Diabetes Care Specialist with extensive academic credentials, including MD, PGDD, PGCDE, DNHE, and CCP. He is also the author of the well-regarded book, “It’s All About Carbohydrate Counting.”
Beyond his clinical and academic contributions, Dr. Mishra holds several prominent leadership positions. He serves as the CEO and Director of the Arogya Shiksha Foundation, Chairman of the Diabetes Awareness Foundation, and President of TAPESYA. In these roles, he is deeply committed to advancing public health education, promoting sustainable lifestyle interventions, and strengthening diabetes awareness initiatives at both national and international levels.
Dr. Sunil Gupta
Dr. Sunil Gupta, RSSDI National President Elect 2025-26 is the Managing Director of Dr. Sunil’s Diabetes Care n’ Research Centre Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur. He holds extensive clinical and academic qualifications, including MD, FACE (USA), FRCP (London, Glasgow & Edinburgh), FACP (USA), FICP, FIAMS, FIACM, FDI, and FRSSDI. He also leads a charitable trust under the Diabetes Care Foundation of India (Nagpur), with a focus on ethical diabetes care, clinical practice, and community-based research initiatives.
